Refuge Recovery is a program of recovery from all types of addiction and suffering. It uses Buddhism’s Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path as it’s main inspiration and guiding philosophy. These meetings are based on the book “Refuge Recovery: A Buddhist Path to Addiction Recovery” by Noah Levine.
Meetings last one hour and include readings from this and other books as well as meditation practice and group sharing, with an emphasis on providing community support for its members.
A donation is requested but not required for attendance.
We meet on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7 – 8PM at:
CommunityWise Resource Centre
223 12th Ave SW (Please see posted signage for room location)
We kindly ask that if you arrive late and the door is closed that you please wait quietly outside the room until the meditation has finished and the door opens.
